The suite has three new simulators: Solido SPICE, Solido Fast SPICE and Solido LibSPICE software, together with the company’s AFS platform, ELDO software and Symphony software.
Solido Sim AI is the latest version of Siemens’ AI- accelerated simulation technology, which was first used by Solido Design Automation in its work to design and deploy AI for EDA 15 years ago. (Siemens purchased Solido Design Automation in 2017). With Solido Sim AI, self-verifying algortithms advance circuit simulation and is tuned to SPICE accuracy, which Siemens says can substantially improve simulation speed, boost accuracy, and improve productivity.
It works closely with Siemens’ IC sign-off flows including its Calibre verification software and Tessent IC test solutions, as well as its electronic systems design and manufacturing PCB solutions, providing full-flow verification solutions across applications.
