Just received the BeagleBoard Foundation Newsletter - the August "Easy AI Edition" - and a case study on building automation caught my eye.

There's a new devboard in town: welcome the BeagleBoard.org BeagleY-AI, which promises to add "4 TOP/S of Edge AI acceleration to a fan-less computing platform".

BeagleBoard is announcing the launch of a new open source hardware SBC, sniffing its way into the RISC-V ecosystem - the BeagleV-Ahead. It's based on the TH1520, a quad core 64-bit RISC-V SoC from T-Head.

There's always room for a Beagle board on GadgetMaster, so welcome the powerful BeaglePlay, featuring built-in wired and wireless connectivity.

Let's welcome a new BeagleBone to the world. It's the BeagleBone AI-64, and it's been a while since we featured the TI-leaning platform on Gadget Master.

Welcome the new Beagleboard in town - the PocketBeagle, described as "an ultra-tiny-yet-complete open-source USB-key-fob computer".

Built around the BeagleBone open hardware and based on a TI ARM Cortex-A8 processor, the BeagleBone Blue has a set of peripherals suited for building mobile robots.

The BeagleBone Black Wireless has on-board 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and there are also two new capes (Display and Wireless) from the BeagleBone team.

Here is an interesting one to note – a variation on the BeagleBoard theme, the BeagleBone Green (BBG).
