Winner – MediaTek Semiconductor Product of the Year (Analogue)

This chipset provides new levels of connectivity with the world’s first commercially available devices using 3GPP NTN technology. It allows the use of satellite networks for reliable communication in remote locations, bringing connectivity to previously inaccessible areas, for use in agriculture, forestry and logistics. Judges were impressed with the evidence of its impact with one describing it as an “impressive 3GPP chip”.
