MWC 2014: Global Mobile Awards 2014 awarded

The GSMA, organisers of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, have announced the winners of the 19th Annual Global Mobile awards.

Headline grabbing awards include the Samsung Gear Fit being awarded “The Best Mobile Device”, the Apple iPad Air scooping “Best Mobile Tablet”, LG picking up “Most Innovative Device Manufacturer of the Year” (“Impressive across the board with ground-breaking innovation – LG is flexing its technological muscle” said the judges), HTC receiving “Best Smartphone” for the HTC One, and the Nokia Lumia 520 winning the title “Best Low Cost Smartphone”.
