UKESF celebrates record-breaking year for its Scholarship Scheme

The UK Electronics Skills Foundation (UKESF) is celebrating the record success of its 2022/23 Scholarship Scheme for entering the electronics industry.

It is the most successful year since the Scheme was established in 2010, the organisation reports. This year, there were 266 applications from undergraduates studying at one of the UKESF’s 27 partner universities.

The UKESF highlighted that the 2022/23 Scheme saw the highest number of companies joining the programme and also the employer survey satisfaction results showed highest levels since the scheme began.


Specifically, it reports, 100% of employers would recommend the Scheme to another company; 97% of UKESF Scholarship applications were rated ‘excellent’ or ‘good’ when compared to other internship applications, and 97% of companies said support from the UKESF was ‘excellent’ or ‘good’

It works collaboratively with major companies and leading universities on a range of education Electronics-focused activities, projects and teacher training.

The UKESF highlights that it has now connected more than 750 undergraduates with leading employers.
