Winner – Morse Micro Start-up of the Year

Morse Micro’s 802.11ah Wi-Fi HaLow technology is a low power single chip, integrating radio, PHY and MAC as well as an optional host applications processor designed to comply with the sub-1 GHz IEEE 802.11ah standard. It offers ultra-low power, longer range and secure connections at a higher capacity to power the IoT.

Judges admired the solution, calling it “truly innovative” in extending an existing technology for a new range of applications and with huge market potential due to the built-in security. Another commented that the start-up’s products “have a major part to play in the future of IoT devices”.
