Alongside EDA companies, Cadence Design Systems, Siemens’ Mentor Graphics and Synopsys, will be NEC, IBM, Amazon Web Services, Alibaba Cloud Services and Xilinx. Organisers say this will be the largest DAC since 2011, with 175 companies exhibiting, with a record 37 first-time exhibitors in the list.
Many new areas have been added to the event. First there is a Design Infrastructure Alley, made up of exhibitors targeting IT and design-on-cloud engineers. There will also be a Smart Systems Square, for system and application engineers and a new IP Speaks pavillion. There will also be a half-day Hackathon.
“As design challenges get more complex with technological advances like artificial intelligence, edge computing and autonomous vehicles, designers are looking to DAC, its extensive technical program and exhibitors for answers,” said Sharon Hu, 55th DAC General Chair.
DAC will be held at the Moscone West Center, San Francisco, from 24 to 28 June 2018.
Advance Registration is now open along with the I LOVE DAC exhibit registration pass.
