Called TPF45000-385 it can operate from can operate from 360 – 528Vac three-phase (delta or Y) and produces a stable 385Vdc. Input to ground isolation is 2kVac.
Efficiency is up to 98%, allowing air cooling by internal variable speed fans.
Operation is across -10 to +50°C ambients (-20°C start-up).
Inside there are ten 4.5kW modules, and some can be left out for lower power systems.
The rack-mount enclosure is 450mm wide (excluding side rack mount flanges), 113mm high (less than 3U) and 533mm deep, and the unit weighs 30kg.
PMBus and USB interfaces are available to monitor the input voltage, output voltage, output current, internal temperature, PSU status and fan status, and to inhibit or enable the output.
On top of this, isolated signals are provided for dc good, dropped phase and fault, plus there is remote on/off and a 13 – 15V 0.5A auxiliary output.
Certification is to IEC/EN/UL/CSA 62368-1 safety standards, and it has CE and UKCA marking for the Low Voltage, EMC and RoHS Directives.
The supplies comply with EN55032-A (conducted and radiated emissions), SEMI F47-0706 (line dips) and IEC 61000-4 (immunity).
In use, it is expected to feed isolated dc-dc converters that supply equipment for semiconductor test, burn-in and printing, for example.
