The first member of its NeoPower (NP) family of configurable multi-output supplies, it has eight output slots for configuration and 18W/inch3 claimed density for ~283 x 203 x 64mm chassis. Input is single-phase 90 – 132Vac and 180 – 264Vac.
“NP08 also has integrated and flexible communication capabilities with optional dongles that support all common digital communication protocols without the need for design changes or modifications,” according to the company. “NP08 is qualified to all applicable standards including the medical BF [body floating] safety rating and the SEMI F47 standard relating to immunity from voltage sag.”
Those communication options include RS-485 (Modbus RTU), PMbus, and CANbus (CANopen) protocols. “This connectivity also makes NP08 ideal for IoT applications requiring cloud-based monitoring and control,” said Advanced.
As well as the NP08 ac-dc power supply, at APEC the company will have hyperscale data center PSUs, and 1.5kJ capacitor charger for medical use that includes a low-voltage PSU and can handle up to 2.3kW and an RF power source for semiconductor etch and deposition.
