Easby eyes a slice of the IoT market with Geniatech SBCs

Single board computers (SBCs) from Chinese industrial IoT and embedded board manufacturer, Geniatech, are now available from Easby Electronics.

The XPI-xxxx series consists of the XPI-3128, XPI-3566 and XPI3568/3568J SBCs. The XPI-3128 is based on the Rockchip RK3128 quad-core Cortex-A7 1.2GHz SoC with integrated Mali-400MP2 GPU. Its arithmetic and graphics processing capabilities provide video output and a high resolution (1080p at 60fps) display. The SBC supports 2.4G/5GHz Wi-Fi, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and BT4.0. The board is equipped with 512M, 1GB, 2GB DDR3 RAM and provides 8GB, 16GB eMMC storage, which gives it the edge over the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, for example which does not include eMMC storage. It also has an onboard 100M Ethernet port and supports an external 40-pin interface, including UART, I2S, PCM, I2C, GPIO, and PWM.

The XPI-3566 is based on the Rockchip 3566 SoC with a quad core Cortex-A55 CPU. It has multiple I/O including a 40 pin GPIO extension interface, one MIPI CSI, one MIPI DSI, one HDMI out and one USB 3.0 port as well as four USB 2.0 ports. It supports GB Ethernet, Wi-Fi Dual Band 2.4G and 5G, and optional Bluetooth 4.0 networks.

The XPI-3568/3568J is based on the Rockchip RK3568/3568J quad core Coretex-A55 SoC and offers up to 128GB eMMC storage

All SBCs measure 85mm x 56mm, with an operating temperature range of 0°C-60°C and are compatible with Android 11 and Linux Debian 10 OS.

Easby offers UK-based technical support.
