Industrial 10.4inch display is bright with a wide viewing angle

Review Display Systems (RDS) is stocking a 10.4inch TFT P-series display module from industrial display manufacturer Tianma.

P1040XGF1MA00 is XGA (1920 x 1080 pixels) with the classic 4:3 aspect ratio and includes ‘Super Fine TFT’ (SFT) technology for wide viewing angle and consistent colour, said RDS.

Contrast ratio is 1000:1 and viewing angle is 85° left, right, up and down). The white LED backlight provides 1,300cd/m² and a 100K hour half-brightness lifetime.

“Tianma’s P-series display modules have been designed for use where reliable, long-term operation in harsh application environments is required,” according to RDS division manager Justin Coleman.” According to RDS: Tianma is committed to support a 5-to-7 year product life.

The 20pin, single-channel LVDS data interface supports 6bit or 8bit configurable colour depth allowing colour palettes of 262k or 16.7m colours. An anti-glare surface polariser is included.

The devices is 230 x 180 x 9.5mm, with a 210 x 158mm display which works over -30 to +80°C.
