ECD1000A comes in a metal enclosure with baseplate conduction cooling and can be used with the plate from -40 to +75°C, derated in some situations.
Operation is from 85 to 305Vac (100 to 277Vac nominal) and output is 28Vdc 36A.
“For demanding applications the ECD1000A is mechanically ruggedised according to the MIL-STD-810H standard, the products are designed to sustain 20G shocks, and interior boards and components are protected with a conformal coating,” according to the company. “The product is electrically ruggedised to withstand harsh transients and meet EMC performance according to MIL-STD-461E CE102/RE102, MIL-STD 1399-300A and MIL-STD-810H.”
Power factor correction is included and typical efficiency with a 230Vac input is 91%.
Input-to-output safety isolation is 3kVac, input-to-ground 2,000kVac and output-to-ground is 500Vac.
A remote control input and a power-good output are provided. Connectors for input, output and signals are circular MIL spec types.
Protections include over-current (with auto-recovery), over-voltage and over-temperature.
Dimensions are 204 x 326 x 50.8mm and 3.5kg.
ECD1000A complies with the 62368-1, CE and UKCA, and it has a three-year warranty.
