TMF3221 and TMF3222 “are housed in a space-saving slim book-shelf enclosure which may be installed next to inverters, converters or motor drives”, according to the company. “The devices are designed to meet the needs of power drive applications, including machinery and machine tools, worldwide. TMF3221 provides standard attenuation performance and the TMF3222 offers high attenuation performance.”
Maximum continuous operation is 530Vac in all types, except TMF3222HV and TMF3222HVIT are rated at 760Vac.
Typical circuit – variations include deliting ground discharge resistor
High potential test voltages vary from part to part over the range 2,279 to 3,528Vdc.
Current ratings between 10 and 230A (50°C) are available. Operation is over -40 to +100°C.
Dimensions vary from 40 x 120 x 157mm to 105 x 240 x 310mm (to the last figure has to be added terminals and mounting feet).
Potential applications, said Emis, include variable speed drives, power drives, three-phase servos in machine tools, IT power distribution networks, inverters, converters, wind turbines, elevators and three phase power supplies.
Designing and manufacturing EMI filters for more than 40 years, Emis is based in Sweden.
