They are available in 0.5, 1 and 1.5mΩ.
“Adopting a proprietary trimless structure suppresses the rise in temperature caused by localised current concentration. This allows a wider distance between electrodes – improving the ease of pattern design even with resistances as low as 0.5mΩ,” said Rohm. “A temperature coefficient of resistance of ±75ppm/°C enables reliable, high accuracy current detection.”
Derating starts at 130°C for the 0.5 and 1mΩ resistors, and 125°C for the 1.5mΩ type, decreasing to zero at the maximum temperature of +175°C. Minimum is -65°C.
For automotive use, the parts are certified to ISO9001 / IATF16949, which “corresponds to AEC-Q200”, according to the company.
