Capacitor manufacturer Kemet has applauded the work of three of its European distributors and presented them with awards for their contribution to its business in 2004.
Anglia, Micromark C&CD and TTI Europe were singled out for praise by the US manufacturer, which currently relies on the distribution channel for over 50 per cent of its European sales.
TTI won the supplier’s president’s award which recognised sales performance and market share, but also factors such as inventory management, communications, electronic trading and new product introduction.
Micromark C&CD was recognised for what Kemet called high performance solutions development, which identified design-in activity for products such as high CV multilayer ceramic capacitors and multi-anode tantalums. “They are the clear leader in Europe in this category,” said Marc Kotelon, distribution director for Kemet Europe.
The top-performing distributor for business development in northern Europe was Anglia Components. “This award was determined by a mix of revenue level and relative growth percentage and proves that Anglia has achieved tremendous growth for Kemet products in the UK and Ireland,” said Kotelon.
