Digi-Key premieres Season 2 of City Digital video series

Digi-Key Electronics is releasing Season 2 of its City Digital video series, diving deeper into smart cities, and specifically the ways technology is transforming our homes.

Each of the three videos – which are also sponsored by u-blox, Littelfuse and Taoglas – aim to feature the latest, most innovative smart home technologies, ranging from appliances to security to EV charging and more, says Digi-Key.

“This series highlights the innovative technology Digi-Key suppliers and customers are using to build homes, improve our daily lives and address the global need for housing, all while keeping sustainability in mind,” said Robbie Paul, director of IoT business development for Digi-Key Electronics.

Smart Home

Following, the pattern of the other Digi-Key video series, the first of the three videos – dubbed “Welcome to Your Smart Home” is already live on Digi-Key’s website.

The second video, “Beyond the Walls”, will be released in late March, says the distributor. And the third video, “Technology at the Foundation”, will go live in April.

Season 1

Season 1, called “Smarter, Safer Cities”, was launched in April 2021, focusing on the way technologies can change the way people work, commute and live.

The first of the three videos in the series was “Public Safety Through Enhanced Awareness”, with the second being “Harvesting and Storing Sustainable Energy” and the third “Office Workers in The Next Normal”.
