“California-based Seeed Studio is an IoT technology company which specialises in hardware research, production and sales for edge computing, network communication and smart sensing applications,” according to Farnell. “Farnell customers will benefit from flexible customisation options and low minimum order quantity (MOQ) requirements.”
Products include the Nvidia Jetson based reComputer, Raspberry Pi CM4 based reTerminal, Edgebox industrial controllers, Xiao thumb-sized microcontroller boards and Grove compatible prototyping modules.
“ReTerminal is a hand-sized all-in-one board, helping designers to develop IoT and AI projects for use in industrial applications,” said Farnell. “Edgebox controllers are defined as an OT-IT Bridge in industrial automation scenarios, integrating PLC/PAC, IPC, IIOT gateway and OPC UA Server.”
The agreement is global, with Farnell operating under alternative names outside the EMEA region.
