mBOX602 is the PC, for i7, i5 and i3 processor processors up to 65W supported by 2x DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM up to 64Gbyte.
“The mBOX602 is IEC 60601 compliant,” Fortec told Electronics Weekly. “The primary goal of this compliance is ensuring the safety of a user interacting with medical equipment.”
Displays can be attached to two HDMI 1.4 ports (4,096 x 2,160 at 30Hz) and one DisplayPort++ 1.2 (4,096 x 2,304 at 60Hz).
Communication is through 2.5Gbit LAN and two COM ports, while internal expansion is via one PCIe x16, one M.2 Key E 2230 slot and one M.2 Key B 3052/3042 slot.
For mass storage, there is SATA-600 and one M.2 Key M 2280 slot, and there is TPM 2.0 for security.
Operation is over 0 to 40°C and 10% to 90% non-condensing humidity. Dimensions are 240 x 302 x 90mm and 4kg.
The COM Express module is CEM561, which can accept i7, i5, i3 or Celeron processors and dual-channel DDR4 memory up to 64Gbyte.
It has one PCIe x4 Gen4 lane and five PCIe Gen3 lanes, 4x USB 3.0, 8x USB 2.0 and 2.5Gbit Ethernet.
“The module’s support for TPM 2.0 underscores its commitment to securing sensitive patient data,” according to Fortec, “Its adaptability and robust performance make the CEM561 an unparalleled choice for developing medical devices.”
It measures 95 x 95mm with a 2mm thickl PCB – vibration endurance is 3.5Grms.
Operation is over -40 to +85°C with a heatsink and suitable cooling.
