Currently running, the Master of Education event encourages entrants to submit ideas to make learning fun. This can be creating a game using electronic parts, for example, or developing a toy that imparts useful tips and tricks. The aim is to “seamlessly connect education with a technical spark,” said TME. It is designed to appeal to seasoned educators, passionate hobbyists and inspiring innovators, offering “the opportunity to create transformative learning experiences”. It is, said TME, an invitation to unleash your creativity, to push the boundaries of what’s possible, and to redefine the landscape of education.
The deadline for entries is 25 July 2024.
Other events already announced are Master of Electronic Art and Master of Arduino. The four winners of the Electronic Art event were announced in April and the Master of Arduino event, designed to show expertise in using Arduino boards, sensors and components in projects, closes for entries on 14 May.
Still to be announced are the Master of Saving Money and the Master of Restoration events. The first which invites entrants to explore the possibility of creating something high in creative value but which require minimal expenses for gathering parts and implementation.
The Master of Restoration challenge is to repair, restore, and recycle old things and make them relevant again.
The deadline for entries or nominations for the Tech Master Event Tournament 2024 is 05 December 2024.
