Telonic adds three ‘A-lister’ instruments from Siglent Technologies

Three members of Siglent Technologies’ A-Line family are now available from Telonic.

The first is the SNA5000A vector network analyser (VNA). Available as a two- or four-port device and with frequency ranges from 9kHz to 4.5GHz or 8.5GHz. It supports two- or four-port S-parameters and differential S-parameter measurements. There is also as time domain analysis option (the SNA5000-TDR). Users can choose one-port, extended one-port, full two-port correction and short-open-load-through, short-open-load-reciprocal or through-reflect-load techniques. Five sweep types – linear and logarithmic frequency, output power, time domain and segmented  – are supported.

The second addition to the portfolio is the SDS6000A super phosphor oscilloscope. It features eye diagrams and jitter analysis and an acquisition memory up to 500Mpts over one, two or four channels. The waveform capture rate can reach up to 750,000 waveform per second in sequence mode. It includes digital and zone triggers, history function, mask test, Bode plot and a I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN as standard. There is the option to expand the oscilloscope by 16 digital channels and an external function generator (25MHz). Additional serial bus decoders (CAN-FD, FlexRay, MIL1553, I2S, SENT, Manchester) are also available. It also offers 5Gsamples per second per channel and ESR (enhanced sample rate) for equivalent sample rates up to 10Gsamples per second per channel. It is engineered to precisely capture even the smallest signals on the vertical range (500µVdiv) with input stage performance of SFDR > 45dBc, channel-to-channel isolation up to 70dB and DC amplifier accuracy ±1.5%.

The SDG7000A two-channel arbitrary function generator is the third, and most recent instrument introduced by Siglent. Available in 350MHz, 500MHz and 1GHz bandwidths, it has two independent channels which can be combined to simulate interference on the main signal or to generate complex modulated signals.

Suitable for embedded system developers, the arbitrary function generator has sine, square, triangle, and pulse waveforms as standard. It also has pseudorandom bit sequence (PRBS) and 512Mpoint memory for creating custom signals.

TrueArb technology guarantees waveform fidelity at up to 2.5Gsamples per second with minimal jitter. User-defined signals can be generated with the manufacturer’s EasyWave software or directly on the device display. It is also possible to import arbitrary curves from text or CSV files. In sequence mode, users can sequence up-to 1024 waveform segments for more complex waveform creation.

The maximum output voltage is up to 12Vpp into a 50Ω external load with and up to 24Vpp is possible when sourcing signals into a high impedance environment. Outputs can be configured as single-ended or differential. There is a choice of FM, AM, PM modulation and optional digital IQ modulation and up to 16 digital signals can be sourced via TTL or LVDS bus modules with data rates up to 1Gbps.
