Q2 NAND ASP up 15%

The NAND ASP increased by 15% in Q2 and driving total revenue to $16.796 billion – 14.2% up q-o-q, reports TrendForce.

All NAND Flash suppliers returned to profitability starting in the second quarter and are expanding capacity in Q3.

TrendForce forecasts that in Q3, the ASP of all NAND Flash products will rise by 5% to 10% QoQ.


Samsung’s NAND ASP rose by 20% and brought Q2 revenue to $6.2 billion—up 14.8% from the previous quarter.


Hynix’ ASP increased by 16%, leading to a 13.6% QoQ rise in NAND Flash revenue to $3.716 billion.

Kioxia’s ASP was up 20% delivering Q2 revenue of $2.326 billion – up 27.7% q-o-q.

Micron also saw  a 20% rise in ASP which boosted its NAND  revenue to $1.981 billion, a 15% QoQ increase.

WDC experienced a slight increase in ASP for revenue of $1.761 billion—up 3.3% q-o-q.
