Elektra Awards: new categories reflect industry changes

This year’s Elektra Awards 2024, organised by Electronics Weekly, includes two new categories, reflecting emerging application areas for our industry.

The two new categories are Best Electronics Workplace and Smart Buildings.

The Best Electronics Workplace Award is an opportunity for a company to showcase its workplace and environment. Entries can reflect creative, practical or innovative work practices that have been introduced to enhance a work-life balance for staff. We are looking for workplaces that have an energetic and diverse mix of employees that break barriers in how to successfully build, integrate or manage a team or corporation. Entries will be inspirational and effective schemes that improve a company or department, increase energy efficiency and/or are conducive to employee productivity or wellbeing.

The second new category is Smart Buildings. Entries will be examples of RF, wireless, sensor or system level design for buildings or smart cities.

There are 16 categories in the Elektra Awards 2024, and there is no charge to enter. The deadline for entries is Friday 19 July 2024. (Entries received after that date may still be considered but charged a late fee.)

Each category has an entry criteria to help with your entry and which will be used by the cross-industry experts and luminaries on the Elektra judging panel.

The 2024 Elektra Awards will take place in a new venue, the IET London, Savoy Place in central London on Tuesday 10 December. Be a part of the industry’s premiere event to recognise excellence across the electronics industry, the innovators, the pioneers and its shining stars.
